Grasshopper Warbler Bird:
The bird is known to frequent most parts of England between late April and leaving
in September.
According to Dr. Paul Green of the British Trust for Ornithology, the Grass Hopper
Warbler never sings in flight. That does not reconcile with events that night. The
birds song is also intermittent and this sound was continues for long period. Its
normal habitat is in hedges, dense wet or dry fens, heathlands and moorlands. This
event took place in an open field of cereal. All of that said, the actual sound of the
song is very similar to the Cheesefoot Head sound.
