ASIO and the New Australian Police State
By a disciple of the Lord of Justice

On April 28, 2010, an article titled “Secret plan to boost spying” by Dan Oakes, was published in
The Age (Melbourne), one of Australia’s leading daily newspapers. The following quotations are from
this story; some of the Ministers mentioned in this no longer hold their position, as noted in
parentheses:

“DEFENCE intelligence officers would get increased powers to tap phones within Australia, and ASIO
officers would be allowed to carry weapons, under controversial proposals contained in a secret
review of the nation's intelligence services. The review also proposes that officers of Australia's
overseas spy agency, ASIS, be given increased powers to carry weapons, and to engage in
''paramilitary'' activities abroad, intelligence sources have told
The Age.”

“It is believed the review is being driven by the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, and that its
results will soon go to the head of the department, Terry Moran. From there, it will go to Prime
Minister Kevin Rudd
(Rudd lost his position in June 2010) and other ministers. The review is so
shrouded in secrecy that a spokesman for Mr. Rudd denied its existence. Spokesmen for Attorney-
General Robert McClelland and Defence Minister John Faulkner (
Faulkner retired from politics at the
21 August 2010 federal election
) directed inquiries to Mr. Rudd's office.”

“Among the most controversial proposals is to give the Defence Signals Directorate, Australia's
electronic spy agency, domestic wire-tapping powers to combat terrorism and trans-national crime. At
present, the agency is legally restricted from spying on Australian citizens…. Last year, national
security expert and then adviser to the Rudd government,Ross Babbage, argued that the directorate
should be given powers to spy on Australians at home or overseas to deal with evolving security
threats including terrorism and cyber warfare. Giving the agency broader powers to spy on domestic
communications would require new civil liberties safeguards and major changes to the existing legal
framework covering the intelligence realm, Professor Babbage also said.”

I had not remembered the details of this story when I visited the central Victorian town of Kyneton on
business in July 2010. There was a construction project underway involving some extensive
extensions to the existing Kyneton Police Station, and I started wondering why this would be
happening in this relatively small town (population 5,900 at the 2006 census). I claim to have contact
with some advanced spiritual beings -whom I call my inner guides – who have access to information
that would normally be completely beyond my ability to access. I asked them about the matter, and
they revealed to me the following.

The massive extension to the Kyneton Police Station is being funded 99% by the federal government.
There was a sign in front of construction site stating that the Victoria state government was funding
the construction, but this is meant to mislead and deceive the public at large. The core issue behind
these outer events is that the Australian national spy agency –
ASIO, the Australian Security
Intelligence Organisation
– whose headquarters is based in Canberra, the national capital, has a
list of
suspected dissidents living here in Australia. There are plans that these dissidents will be
subject to a national round up and incarceration, in the event of a national “emergency”. This list
consists of over
13,500names. When I asked my inner guides about the number of individuals in
Australia who
actually pose a serious threat to security -in that they are willing and prepared to cause
destruction or damage in the form of planned attacks using force or violence -I was informed that this
number is about
200-persons. When I asked how many individuals on the ASIO list were considered
to fall in this category, I was told that this number is approximately
1,250-. The two figures in
themselves are quite revealing, as these demonstrate more than anything else, the extreme fear,
paranoia and delusion that afflict ASIO and its operatives. However, it should be noted that there
have been trials and convictions of a small number extremists, notably adherents of Islam who hold to
jihad beliefs, in recent years in Australia. Thus it can be stated that the various intelligence agencies
in Australia do have some grounds for suspicion about possible terrorism plots.
Upon receiving this information, the question then became who knew about the real reason behind
this extension? At that point in time, the Premier of Victoria was John Brumby, who was defeated at
the 27 November 2010 state election and has since retired from politics. Was Brumby aware of the
true nature of these internment facilities, masquerading as better police protection for the public? My
guides said that he did
not know their true nature. I was told, though, that then Victoria Police
Minister Bob Cameron (who retired from politics at the 27 November state election) actually
did
know
the truth behind these, or at least some of the truth. Interestingly enough, Cameron
announced his retirement from politics just a few weeks after the first reports of the real reasons for
these facilities went out on the internet. This retirement was unexpected – he officially attributed this
to family concerns -but I was informed that Cameron made this decision after he learned about these
circulated reports. I asked why Cameron had not informed Premier Brumby (when they were both in
power) about the true nature of these cop shop extensions? I was told that one the one hand,
Cameron had been threatened with harm by ASIO should he reveal the truth, and that on the other
hand, he was promised some sort of support or career advancement if he kept his mouth shut. So it
goes when one makes a deal with the devil.
Also as part of the ASIO “grand plan”, there is a $12 million planned upgrade / extension to another
police station, in the central Victorian town of Castlemaine (population 6,800 at 2006 census). I was
informed that just as in the case of Kyneton, this is actually a potential internment centre for
dissidents. I was told that about
25 such facilities exist across the state of Victoria, and more are
planned.
And then I posed a question that I consider to be extremely important: What percentage of
individuals living in the state of Victoria -once informed of true nature of the police state internment
facilities in Kyneton, Castlemaine and elsewhere -would be willing to stand up publicly and oppose
this whole concept?
Sadly, the answer was only 3% of the entire population of this state. And then,
my own intuition filled in the rest of the picture. The bad guys – namely ASIO, their henchmen, and
various politicians holding positions of power – are quite aware of two factors: 1) On one hand, most
of the population is so financially stressed and pressed that they do not have the time to learn
about important issues, let alone speak out about them; 2) On the other hand, the public in general
is so apathetic and disinterested – apart from matters that directly affect the status of their own
wallets – that they can be controlled and manipulated by the mainstream media. There is also a
third factor at play; the bad guys reckon that if a portion of the population does get too “uppity” or
rebellious, they can be brought back into line through intimidation or coercion. So they think that
they only have to worry about the small minority of the population that have the intelligence, will,
and courage to stand up to government oppression. And they reckon that if they have to
incarcerate this percentage (for the good of the nation!), they can effectively squelch any real
dissent. Let us hope that their calculations prove incorrect.

My personal belief is that the forces of light – now focussed through some individuals in this nation
and others – are probably strong enough to prevent these sinister plans from ever being put into
effect. However, positive action from each of you who read this article especially those of us living in
the state of Victoria in Australia – is what is required, not simply ignorance or apathy, if we wish to
maintain a nation truly based upon justice and a fair go for all.
